Chimamanda Pearl Chukwuma (born 1 July 2006), known professionally as Qing Madi, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. She gained initial recognition following the release of her hit single “See Finish” in 2022. She received wider recognition for her 2023 single “Ole” featuring BNXN, peaking at number one and three on the Uganda and Nigeria Top 100 Apple Music respectively.
== Early life and career ==
Chimamanda Pearl Chukwuma was born on 1 July 2006 in Benin City, Edo State. She attended Negbenegbor International School in Benin City for her secondary education. Chimamanda was raised in Benin City by her mother, along with her siblings. She is originally from Delta State. She began performing at a young age, participating in school talent shows and singing in her church’s adult choir.
Qing Madi’s first single, “See Finish” (2022), made its breakthrough primarily on TikTok. As of 2023, she has released three singles and has been gaining prominence in the music industry; having performed at the Homecoming event in Lagos, Nigeria.
